An excellent book . Lucid explanation and easy to understand code are at the core of this book . Each segment in Code is explained well . The multiple facets of this complex language are brought to light one at a time . The book also guides the readers away from many pitfalls that exist in C. This is a boon for a C programmer migrating to C++ .

After you finish reading the book , you will have no doubts whatsoever regarding the language. The book takes a practical viewpoint you will have nothing to complain about once you finish reading the book. There is absolutely no con of this book .I have heard about "toy examples" complaint on this book . Though this might look like a drawback , it helps novices to language grasp the concept.
