Book Reviews :: STL Tutorial and reference Guide by David R.Musser and Atul saini

There is an absolute need for every C++ programmer to learn STL ; A comprehensive refrence manual for standard C++ STL ( i.e, The Standard template library ) ( like this book ) is therefore necessary. The book has a lucid style and the output of most programs is readily visible from the programs themselves.

The con of this book is that it may be too comprehensive for a newbie . The level of detail is amazing.

My Conclusion is that if you somehow can't get your hands on Bruce Eckel's Thinking in C++ Volume 2 you should get hold of this book.
